The Maini group has taken many initiatives to improve the quality of life of tribal and rural India through its Gramothan Yojana programme.The prime objective of the programme is to eliminate poverty from rural India in the shortest possible time through:

• Involment opf the villagers.
• Building excellent training centres.
• Stationing trained personnel in every adopted village.
• Intriducing various schemes in the fields of basic education,hygiene,health,farming,non-farming work & utilization of waste.

The group is also passionately involved in environment conservation, through:

• periodical afforestation programmes
